Simon Porte Jacquemus started with twelve pieces and no money in 2009 and built a house on the south of France — oversized hats, miniature bags, and a sense of humour most Paris labels had mislaid.
Bags are the heart of the edit: the small structured shapes the house is known for, in shoulder, tote and clutch form. Around them sit eyewear, leather sandals and pumps, knitwear, poplin shirting, denim, belts and lightweight jackets.
