The Missoni Edit

Rosita and Ottavio Missoni started with knitting machines in Gallarate and built a house on zigzag, flame stitch and colour used with more confidence than almost anyone in Italy.

Scarves account for nearly half the edit — wool, cashmere and viscose in the house patterns — with knitwear, jersey and accessories making up the rest, split fairly evenly between women's and men's.
